Original Content

Every recipe, article, and photo published on KitchReviews is developed and written by me, Tayuba Tabassum, unless I say otherwise on the page itself.

I cook every recipe in my own kitchen before it goes live. My husband and my sister taste-test alongside me, and a recipe doesn't get published until it passes that table test. The wording, measurements, step order, and photography are all my own work, created for this site.

Inspiration & Sources

Cooking is built on shared traditions, and I'm openly inspired by them. Some examples of what shapes my recipes:

BBQ & grilling: classic American barbecue and backyard grilling traditions — smoking, reverse-searing, dry rubs, and marinades passed down through home cooking rather than any single source.
Beef: steakhouse and pitmaster techniques adapted for a home kitchen, like reverse-sear methods and low-and-slow smoking.
Mediterranean: fast-casual Mediterranean bowl concepts (in the style of restaurants like CAVA) alongside traditional Mediterranean home cooking.
Seafood: classic pan-searing, cedar-plank, and smoking techniques used across everyday home and coastal cooking.

Where a recipe is a copycat-style dish inspired by a specific restaurant or brand, I say so directly in that post. Mentioning a restaurant, brand, or culinary style is for context only — it doesn't mean that business endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with KitchReviews.

Use of Third-Party Information

For food safety details, storage times, and nutrition figures, I reference established sources such as USDA FoodData Central and FDA daily value guidance, then cross-check them before publishing. Any facts drawn from outside sources are rewritten in my own words and used within fair use — I don't copy paragraphs, techniques write-ups, or reviews from other sites word for word.

I respect other creators' intellectual property and ask that anyone using this site's content does the same.

Image & Media Policy

All photos on KitchReviews are either taken by me in my own kitchen, or are properly licensed stock images used with permission. I don't use images pulled from other blogs, social media, or search results without a license.

Reproducing, downloading for republishing, or redistributing my photos or videos elsewhere isn't allowed without my written permission.

Use of Our Content by Others

If you'd like to reference or share something from KitchReviews, here's what's fine and what isn't:

You're welcome to:

  • Share a link to a recipe or article on social media or your own site
  • Quote a short excerpt, with clear credit and a link back to KitchReviews
  • Mention a recipe in a roundup, with attribution and a link

Please don't:

  • Republish a full recipe or article as your own
  • Copy or reuse my photos or videos without permission
  • Present my recipes or writing as your own work

For licensing or permission requests outside of this, please reach out through the contact page.

Attribution Requests

If you believe something on KitchReviews should be credited differently, or that credit is missing or incorrect, please let me know. I take these requests seriously and will review and correct them as quickly as I can.

AI-Assisted Content Creation

Transparency matters to me. Some parts of my writing, research process and content creation process may use AI-assisted tools to help with drafting or organizing information. Every recipe is still personally developed and tested in my kitchen, and every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by me before it's published. AI never replaces the actual cooking, tasting, or testing that goes into what you read here.

Policy Updates

This Content & Attribution Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in how I create or source content. Any updates will be posted on this page along with a revised date at the top.

This page works alongside my Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Terms & Conditions — please review those for other details about using this site.
