About KitchReviews

Hi, I'm Tayuba Tabassum.

I cook, test, and review everything you see on this site myself.

Founder of KitchReviews.com

Meet The Founder

The person behind every recipe

I'm Tayuba Tabassum. I run KitchReviews from my own kitchen, not a studio.

I've spent years cooking at home and helping run catering kitchens. Catering taught me what works under real pressure.

I've tested cookware, knives, grills, and small kitchen gadgets myself. I also build simple recipes from ingredients you can find at any grocery store.

My recipes are grounded in food science and basic kitchen safety. I keep learning more about both every year.

I only publish what I'd actually cook or use myself. My readers' trust matters more than clicks.

Our Story

The kitchen is where we come alive

This is us — me feeding my husband a plate of pasta I'd just finished testing. His face tells you everything you need to know about why I keep cooking.

Every recipe on this site goes through him first. I've found that if he goes back for seconds, it's ready to publish. If he stays quiet, I go back to the kitchen.

I started KitchReviews because I wanted a place that felt real. Not a food studio. Not a brand. Just a home cook sharing what actually works — and what doesn't.

Why I created KitchReviews

Most food content online is built for clicks. I built this for real home cooks — people who want honest answers, not perfect photos. After testing dozens of kitchen tools and cooking hundreds of meals, I knew I had something worth sharing.

How we test every recipe

I cook it myself first. Then I hand my husband the fork. We check the taste, the timing, and whether a beginner could follow the steps. One mistake I often see online is a recipe that only works once — so if it doesn't pass our table test, it doesn't go live.

What I focus on

Easy homemade recipes, grilling and BBQ guides, honest kitchen product reviews, and practical cooking tips you can use today. Everything is written for a normal kitchen — no professional gear, no culinary degree needed.

My goal is simple. Help you cook better food with less stress. After testing several methods and years of real kitchen experience, I know what works for home cooks — and I share it all here, honestly.

My Mission

What I want this site to do for you

Cook with confidence

Clear steps that actually work in your kitchen.

Buy smarter

Honest reviews that cut through marketing noise.

Stay food safe

Safety guidance checked against trusted sources.

Waste less

The right techniques so less food ends up in the trash.

What You'll Find Here

Three things I focus on

Easy and Delicious Recipes

Everyday recipes for weeknight dinners and weekend cookouts.

Each one uses ingredients you can grab at any grocery store.

I test every recipe for taste, timing, and real results.

Grilling and BBQ Guides

I love cooking outdoors, and it shows.

These guides cover grills, temperature control, marinades, and dry rubs.

They're written for home cooks, not competition pitmasters.

Honest Kitchen Product Reviews

I test every product before I recommend it.

Reviews cover real use: how it performs, how long it lasts, and what it's worth.

If something isn't worth your money, I'll say so.

How I Work

How every article gets made

1

Research and test first

I start with real cooking, not guesswork or a quick search.

I either test the dish myself or research it in depth before writing a word.

2

Check it against trusted sources

For food safety topics, I check guidance from the USDA, FDA, CDC, and NHS.

This keeps storage times and cooking temperatures accurate, not just convenient.

3

Get a second opinion

My sister tastes and tests recipes with me before they go live.

One mistake I often see online is a recipe that only works once. If it only works for me, it isn't ready yet.

4

Write it for a real home kitchen

I never assume you have professional gear or a culinary degree.

Every recipe and guide is written for a normal kitchen, with normal tools.
